Rent the Historic Rutgers House

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Tallahassee, the historic Rutgers House is the perfect space for any office gathering or family wedding.
The ballroom holds approximately 100 people as a meeting space. Space is also available on the lawn to host outdoor weddings. Our private parking lot provides ample parking for your event.
The following list details rates for all events. All times include set-up, event, and clean-up. Contact the Resident Manager at (850) 224-3371 for all rental requests and a tour of our beautiful space.

*Additional hours may be contracted at a rate of $50 per hour plus tax. This arrangement can be made at the time of contract or until 14 days prior to the event and must be paid for according to the rules of the contract. Any uncontracted hours used will result in a charge of $100 per hour plus tax. A six hour rental may not be extended beyond eight hours or it becomes a full day rental for $1000. plus tax.

The Ballroom, Parlor, Trophy Room, Sunroom, Dining Room and Kitchen are included in all rentals. Garden Club tables and china are included in rentals at no charge. Chairs are available for rent at $5 each. These are soft gold Chavari Chairs which come with an off white chair pad. Tablecloths are available for $10 each plus tax (pre-arranged/pre-paid only). For ALL events, times include set-up, event, and clean up.
